Weekend Event - The Chase!

*Drum rolls begins, bells start ringing loudly*

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Events Team are proud to announce the return of the most popular of all RuneHQ events in the free and members worlds.

It's Theeeeeeee Chaaaaassseeee!!!!

Yes, you heard it right, the chase treasure hunt is back and it's time to get your thinking caps on. Want to get your hands on the Events Team members money and goods? Well, do ya? Then you will need to find us and claim it. Some clues will be easy, some will be hard, but you need to do it all on your own. Teams are not allowed as only one prize will be given out.

The F2P and P2P events will both start in Varrock square. I don't know who is more excited at doing this event, the ET or you :P We are really looking forward to this and we know that you will be there in numbers on both the F2P and P2P worlds. For those of you who haven't been to one of these events before, you are in for a treat. Basically, it's a game of find the ET member from a clue given at the starting point, then from that clue, you have to find the next ET member in the chain.

• Event: The Chase
• Date: Saturday, September 11th and Sunday, September 12th
• World: 55 for F2P (This event will be on Saturday)
• World: 60 for P2P (This event will be on Sunday)
• Time: Both events will start at 2pm CDT, 7pm GMT and 8pm UK time.
• Clan Chat: King of Alba
• Items required: Teleport items, maybe some run energy potions
• Items not required: Armour, Weapons.

The rules: No-one can hide in a quest only area. You must return to Varrock square to take part in the next hunt. The first clue won't be given in the clan chat. So if you aren't at the start point you will miss the first clue.

RuneHQ vs RuneScape Wiki Clan Wars!

Our final Clan Wars event this month will be with the hosts of the Clan Wars Fansite Tournament , RS Wiki! This will be an exciting opportunity to prove our worth in battle. So polish your Rune armor, sharpen your arrow tips and imbue your runes ready for the conclusion of the Clan Wars Tournament.

This battle will be in F2P , so make sure you have Rune Armor and weapons , lobsters and swordfish and wizard robes ready.

• Time: 3 PM CST / 8 PM GMT / 9 PM UK
• World: 29 (F2P)
• Meeting place: Clan Wars Entrance

Event #1: Clan Wars with Tip.It!

Remember our previous Clan Wars event with Tip.It? If you were part of it, then you know what I'm talking about. Well, guess what.... we're having the same event with them again! This event is a part of the Fan site Tournament designed by RS Wiki, and we're now heading into round two of the tournament. This will be an F2P event, which will be hosted by Tip.It.

If you have never played Clan Wars before, then check out our super-duper fantastical Clan Wars guide!

Our previous Clan Wars event with Tip.It was a huge success. So why not do the same again?? Second time's the charm, so let's go out there this weekend and show them what we got!!

Please remember that this is event is supposed to be FUN. I kindly ask our members and supporters to please refrain from bad-mouthing the folks on Tip.It for the duration of this event. It is necessary to keep a competitive spirit, but it's more important to respect one another :)

Event #2: Agility Pyramid Event

Ugh, I hate this place! I need to get to that ticket dispenser, but I don't have high enough agility to use this obstacle. So, I guess I'll go around and find another way... Dang it, I didn't make it in time... All that work for nothing :(. Too bad there's no other place I could go and train agility while also getting rewarded for my efforts. Oh wait.... What about the Agility Pyramid?

Why, of course! There's nothing better than a trip to the good ol' Agility Pyramid. And seeing as everybody loves the Agility Pyramid, the Events Team here at Rune HQ has even decided to pay it a visit for a day of training agility, chatting, and making 1K coins for every lap completed. But watch out... The sun can be scorching so don't forget your desert robes and water skins, as we don't want anybody dying on our account :P

• Event: Agility Pyramid
• Date: Sunday, August 22nd
• Meeting Place: Agility Pyramid
• Time: 2PM CDT / 7PM GMT / 8PM UK
• World: 60 (P2P)
• Clan Channel: ima3picbeast
• Skill Requirements: 30 agility
• Recommended items: water skins (4) or enchanted water tiara, desert robes, Shantay pass, some food, teleport method (in case your water skins run out of water and you start to die), energy potions, and coins for carpet rides
• Rewards: 1K GP every time you complete a lap and healthy amounts of agility experience
